The ts1 fella , same spec as listed in last post , had a little trouble though, big end in crank went at around 2000 miles on new ts kit ( crank was 5 years old though and done a few miles). Then new 60mm crank piston etc , 150 odd miles ring peg went and scrapped top end , so now on 330 miles new ts225 kit ( f.o.c. from AF ) and all seems well would defo reccomend the ts even after all my grief, ( don't call me unlucky Alf for nothing!!! Eh Al!!)
Oh also managed to scrap the RB20 on C2C when ring peg went last year ( Asso pistons don't like me for some reason !!)
Scootering a cheap hobby ......

Have to agree, the RB can be a pain in the ass when stuck behind a car doing 40..as you do have to chase the revs...
You can make them more rideable by going for a lower reving pipe and maybe looking at somthing like a powerjet but thats sort of missing the point of the RB..

did u forget about my standerd rb 225 then ?sydduckett wrote:Well i gotta say if you want to rag it and your not going to be tinkering with either then the rb staright out of the box with an NK or similar will give you a power band and a big grin factor.
The only scoots that are quicker than my RB tend to be the big TS boys with 240,s and the like, standard TS 200,s, i sh*t em.....
or do u mean u wanna race ? lol
