hi , i never had the asso piston from the start always a devtour one, even af hav no pistons, nor mb, im trying to get it on the rd for i o w , talking to the tuner he feels its lack of matinance for a 6000 plus rb piston , but thinks at some time it had a leak prob exhasut gasket, must say the rb barrells are tuff as feck as mine is not bad nick when its had 2 holed pistons and the 3rd is mashed up bad, also the af crank is still fine
ps one of the exhaust feeder ports (think i hav that right ) was completly blocked with carbon

Blimey Gary, You've done well, an AF crank still fine after 6K+ and a Racetour piston that has been in for the same mileage?

The bottom ring usually gums up and the top ring has excessive ring wear after 2k. Is the top ring peg still there?

I've got a new Asso RB225 piston, B grade (I think they all are) if you're stuck.
