I just checked the JB Tuning website and came across this with the same pictures on this post...
Being put into production!

This exhaust was designed by John and Dean over a series of month. Eventually Dean spent over 2 weeks getting the layout just right and 4 days alone, on welding and making the bracketry. The tailcan is a giannelli carbon fibre with alloy structures. This was heavily modified and various diameters were tried and tested. This exhaust was sold and one other was made to send to be copied for production.

It's too early to give away any further details on price or productivity of the exhaust. Lets just say that the team are very happy to invest in having them produced.

Pictured below is the first prototype. The ultra- light tail can needs little support, but for obvious reasons this has been altered and beef'd up for production. Ground clearence for fast cornering was superb both sides. All bodywork remains original and clears perfectly.

The end cand is just supported by one small M6 bolt at the maghousing? Hope it lasts for 50 miles.

They do say that it's "been altered and beefed up for obvious reasons"

Could anyone 'ball-park' a price on an exhaust like this, ie custom made?

I would say a custom pipe would be around the £500 mark.

The pipe I had made for me by Guy Topper we used same can but because they are carbon the pot rivets wear through so we had to modify it. I now use this on a DJ micron as a rally pipe the can is sold by replay scooters £55.00 . I now use a titanium can on Topper pipe fantastic but £115 :o

Reminds me of an after market Spanish pipe that was on my cutdown when I bought it. It also attached to the mag housing but after it fell off twice I took it off.

They do fill up that boring gap on the left hand side of the engine.
