Thanks Knowledge the pictures are very informative. For now I will have to live with making sure my tank is full and as it gets empty to keep an eye (or ear) on that it dosen't pink as from looking at the pics and explanations this is proberly beyond my capability.. :bouncing:

I found a Facet solid state fuel pump is tiny

That was something Diablo said to me when he rebuilt my 172 said theres no harm just lay off the throtle abit if it falls below half a tank which i belive is against the law so fitted a fuel pump

I have now fitted a 28mm dellorto and a dellorto fuel pump. As I kept the rotary induction I had a boss welded onto the manifold and drilled and tapped the manifold to operate the pump. So far all is working well but I have yet to dial the carb in fully and due to a young family I dont think I will have the time so going to get it dyno'd as soon as.
