took me a while to get through it, gold star for that one, very interesting.

i run a ts1 with a readspeed centre plug head which requires a short reach plug,now being a mingebag and not wanting to fork out on a set of new plugs and also i wanted some compatability,i turned a plain mild steel washer,think it was about 4mm thick,and ive used it with many trouble free miles,if you know anyone in the engineering sector im sure theyl make you one,as ive said no running issues on mine
