Don't know if it was pure luck, but the 1mm hole seemed to help on mine when restarting when hot. Just makes a mess of your runner board/flywheel cowl.

definitely theres a market opportunity for any dealer that wants to solve this problem with PWK carbs with a drain valve hose solution.

Fitting a reedvalve would reduce the spitback/starting problems and improve fuel ecomomy

actually lookin for a cheaper solution
