i think the af 175 kits are pretty damn good,and the pistons and rings are good for a proper stage 4 tune...
they do of course need some fettling prior to use ..even as a bolt on kit ...but doesnt everything nowadays...
i,d rather use one of these ,than a bored out 150 or 175 barrell anytime...because its far more cost effective to do so..you get more bang for your bucks..
the prob with say 150 barrels is the minute size of all ports ,especially transfer ports ..and hence why porting these is really not a cost effective alternative to buying the 175 kit...
as the labour charge goes up with the amount of time spent on carving vast amounts of metal away..

Going to follow your advice Sean. Been looking at the AF site and they sell different versions from not stage 4 tuned to tuned and ports polished in your opinion would it be best to get a non tuned one or another as I will be asking a man to stage 4 it properly for me

I,m sure AF,s " Tuned " version will be the best option for you ,especially as you are sticking with your std type carb and clubman silencer..
