Are they that bad, or are we all a bunch of old farts. I had a go on one today and it didnt seem much different to my JL3.

If my memory seves me well, Ray Kemp was blasting round ahead of nearly everything on scooter wheels using a reverse cone big bore exhaust on his Group 6 race scooter, didnt seem to slow him down much......But was it loud

If you get the ones with the clamp in tailpipe . you just need another tailpipe for the mot take out the inner crimp it in a vice to reduce the size a bit more packing then replace into outer a couple of pinches round the bottom to hold it all together and refit , only use it for the mot or your motor will over heat ,plus it runs like a bag of sh1t . but means you dont have to change your pipe . always worked for me
