They only come in 2 sizes, 45mm and 55mm. I think the Keihin is 50mm. Mr B has foam filters that will fit it though.Train Driver wrote:Well someone must like them or they only made half a dozen, i cant find one anywhere
i need it to go with my 30mm keihin and i would like it tomorrow morning please![]()

The one I bought from Camlam was the only size they had and I've had to use a section od radiator hose to get it to fit to the 28 PHBH.corrado wrote:They only come in 2 sizes, 45mm and 55mm. I should think it'd work better on the 28 delly with the 55mm and the screw on bellmouth. Was planning on using one myself on a 225 mugello and if there's sufficient space I'd look at fitting some form of solid tube inside it to stop it getting squashed.coaster wrote:

I have got one on my mugello 225 seems to run better with this than a std gp hose and ram air, I assumed it was due to the larger volume and smoother walls inside the elbow . Mine just touches the panel enough to mark the paint but isn't squashed at all ( gp )

I'm running one on my TS1 230 MB RaceTour tuned 200dl. I haven't done any plug chops but it flows and filters lots better than what I had before (Flat Ram Air stuck to the inside of the side panel. My carb (TMX 35) is jetted pretty rich but it doesn't bog anywhere. I've yet to do any plug chops but the jetting is very close to perfect I think. That might change when I oil the filter. Then I'll look for a good road, if there are any, where I can safely do some plug chops.
With my setup (MB intake manifold and RaceTour rubber, Mikuni TMX 35 which is substantially less deep than many other carbs, and the GP side panels) I don't see much distortion of the Breathing Sweet rubber elbow, maybe a drepresson the size of a 50p coin maybe half an inch deep. I haven't oiled the filter which I may do before I ride it again. I think this is probably the best way of filtering the intake charge without cutting a hole in the panel and running a big UNI or RamAir foam filter.
I'd shot the video after I first fitted the filter and I bought a Jubilee clip to secure the rubber elbow to the carb bellmouth a few days later.
