my li 125 as found in italy by my sister as she lives there.
I drove to italy & brought it back to manchester .not a cost effective way of doing it but it was good fun
and a nice trip through uk / france /switzerland / italy
it looks better in this picture than it was in the flesh it must have been the italian sunshine that made the scoot look tidier in the picture than it was
Image
once i got it back i stripped it down and got it blasted
Image
then powder coated
Image
then sprayed
Image
Image
also got some shiny bits done
Image
engine stripped and ready for blasting and re building
Image
then the re build started
Image
Image
slowly but surely it going back together

this is my first try at scooter building and time will tell if it all works when it goes back together :D :D :?:

like i said about the first picture .pictures hide a multitude of sins i was planning on riding it like it is for the summer but it needed loads of bit changing just to get it mot'd . so i bit the bullet and stripped /tagged & bagged it.
also the whole plan from the start was to buy a lambretta and see if i could do a full restoration.
not leave it like it was found . That was never on the cards
