what CC? What state of tune etc?

Someone on here sugested a 1mm hole in the rubber inlet from the air filter - tried it at the lowest point and it seems to cure any warm start issues with a Jettex. Only drawback is the fuel which is normally spit back, being deposited on the inner floorboards

you could retro fit a tube as per the old type rubbers to direct drain below say fan cowl.

Sounds to me , you have a problem with your choke not closing off.

you should really need the choke to start from cold....

other warm non-starting causes can be:
fuel filler cap blocked
plug gap
worn rings
something electrical breaking down

Warm starting issues with points ignition is often indicative of the condenser breaking down, but you don't give us enough info in your original post.

Is it points or electronic?
