in 2005, i drove about 1000 miles with my restored dl200 from the alps to sweden to the rally scandinavia...
arriving in gothenborg, ...

i soon met up with others and arrived at the beautiful rally-campsite where between nice scooters...

...i found the ORIGINAL PERFECTLY CONSERVED DL200 lambretta of 7ts tennis-star björn borg ..

..who not only won wimbledon , but also bought a brand new lambretta dl200 in 1971 at a lambretta dealer in stockholm and drove only a few thousand kms not ruining this beauty in ochre...

björn borg sold this scooter some years ago (9ts i think) to the new owner who went to the rally with this scooter.

Probably sold it to clear his bankruptcy debts :)

I remember he married a really fit Romanian tennis player___anyone remember the name?
