Help please,

When attaching my carb (sh1/18 dellorto) I cant get to sit tight on the manifold, no matter how tight the clamp is I still get some side to side movement, enought for it to slip off.

Is this normal? its a new manifold so that should be OK, and I replaced the clamp (which is the correct size (18m), and still no joy (i cant remember of it was tight when taking off  )

is there some sort of sealant I can use so it sits tightly ? I replaced the plastic sleeve as well in the carb.

Any ideas would be appreciated ......

The nylon bush that sits in the back of the carb body must be worn, you should be able to get a replacement bush that will sort it.

Could also be wear on the inlet stub of the manifold............have a look at the underside of the stub.
