100/90-10 Front and Rear

Should I better use a 3.50-10 front tyre with a 100/90-10 rear?

I'm asking because I want to put the ML 50 Bridgestone,
I can only use the 100/90-10 type,
as no 3.50-10 size is available.

What are the pros and cons of using a 100/90-10 tyre at both wheels?

Used 110/90 x 10 on my scoot( Continental Zippy 1) a couple of years ago. Overall feel was much improved stability at the front and roadholding on corners............

No downside except cost

Been using front and back 100s all year and very impressed indeed..was always an S1 man before but not now (schwalbe racemans) spot on..
BUT I need to get the washers to space the rear as after stripping noticed faint black rubber line down inside of engine case.. ..so MB cone and washer spacers for me..

I used 100/90 weatherman front and rear and they felt very stable. Aparently a smaller front tyre improves handling so I have a 90/90 to try, any thoughts?

If you look at most race bikes they will use a thinner front tyre than rear as it tips in quicker. Thus 3.50 front and 100/90 rear would be good trade off.

I have used in the past,
a front 90/90-10 Heidenau K58 and it had great feeling,
I was using a 3.50-10 Michelin SM 100 at the rear.

The front end was lowered and it was giving a racing (well you know) feeling.
Problem was that I always had mechanical failures that period ,
so when I fixed the engine I also changed the tyres,
never again tried that combo,
but I believe it worths a try.

I use raceman 350/10 front and 100/90/10 rear on my TS and 100/90 s both ends on my stage4. I immediatly felt the difference with th fatter tyre on the back of both, but I am hard pressed to tell any difference between the two front ends on the road.
Having said that if you compare a Schwalbe 350/10 profile with an S1 then the S1 looks realy skinny or is it the Schwalbe that looks fat?

i did this last year, after i noticed mark on case i took it off and put the 3.5 back on would fitting a bigger cone or putting washer spacers under wheel not put it all out?

I've run 3.50 x 10 on the front and 100/90/10 on the rear for years. Better roadholding and it looks nice. MBD now's selling a thicker rear hub washer for wider tyres to make installing them easier. I've a set of Heidenau K-61's (3.50x10 and 100/90/10) to go on my GP230 TS1 as soon as I wear out the S1's that are on it.
