There doesn't seem to have been any update on the Lectron carbs testing since September. Just wondered how Sean & Diablo got on with them???????????

In practical terms, the 34mm Lectron didnt perform better than the 35mm Mikuni....so given the extra cost of a Lectron, they didnt seem worth the extra £ in simple performance terms.dapper wrote:There doesn't seem to have been any update on the Lectron carbs testing since September. Switching from the 35mm Mikuni to the 38mm Lectron did give a good power boost, but i'd hazard a guess the same would have happened with a 38mm Mikuni.
The quality of the Lecton is nice, and the 'variable fuel metering system' is great (see Lectrons website for more info) but a £130 Mikuni vs a £220 Lectron....in performance terms, the Mikuni wins.
