Is there much involved in converting a lambretta vape sport to static?

I believe it’s only swapping the cdi ?

swap the cdi and change the timing to more suitable i used 17°

Note that the Vape “static” does still have a curve, just much narrower. I used 19 degrees strobed at 4k rpm.

do wot he says pick a timing point and set it at 4000rpm; the timing point moves slightly advancing a degree or so at low revs then retards and becomes steady at and above 4000
