Stuttering & four stroking
You say at low revs so maybe your idle is too rich for the conditions, try dropping down a size and see what it is like. 10 minutes effort and you may be sorted.

Have you checked your choke cable is adjusted properly? I adjust mine so there's a bit of slack in the cable when it's off. I'd check that as well, make sure the plunger is clean and closes properly.

Would it still tick over if it wasn't adjusted properly. Because it ticks over fine. Was going to check scoot last Sunday but I pored down

Not enough slack, it seems. Bloody choke cable snapped at the nipple today!

Took the scoot out today still ran badly but not as bad as the really hot day we had . Adjusted the mixture screw a quarter of a turn in & it runs fine now. Thanks everybody for all the advice .
