Advice please
Running a Ts1 225 with a JL4 curly pipe, Li 150 gearbox, pwk 30mm carb.
Acceleration in 1st 2nd 3rd is fantastic , 4th gear and it will not accelerate at all until I’m going down hill. Not sure of the sprocket arrangement will check that out this week. I have a spare JL3 also aGP 200 gearbox, but don’t really want to swap out the gearbox as it is fine in the first 3 gears. Any advise welcome

Or try another exhaust if you can, which might not be as peaky as the jl4. You may find another exhaust makes it more enjoyable to ride than chasing the revs with a jl4

Holty has it right, drop a tooth on the front sprocket. MIne was similar to yours with 17/46 sprockets on an Li 150 box, it was embarasing. Totally transformed when I dropped the front sprocket by one tooth. That was with a JL3 which I found to be rather limiting on top speed.
Just checked sprockets found to be running 18 -47 final ratio of 4.44 . 17-47 would take it to 4.7 or should I go 16-47 and run it at 4.99 ? I do have a spare 46 tooth?
