I've 2 vespa px discs with me (one mine, one a friend's) with exactly the same fault, and for the life of me I can't suss it out.
Indicator warning light, low fuel light and fuel gauge are not responding at all.
Both were working previously and have had nothing changed, and all of a sudden half the instrument panel is bust!
Anyone point me in the right direction?
All other electrical bits work fine still

Hi thanks for the reply,
Is this something you have had before?
I think you're most likely right but I don't want to spend a hundred squid if I don't have to.
Thanks again

Nice one mate, thanks for that.

All 3 of those circuits are powered from the grey wire so check the condition of the contacts at the speedo connector.

Funny enough i had the horncase off my mates one and have a stray double grey wire with a female spade connector there. Couldn't find where it came from, it's just hanging around in thin air. One wire comes from the buzzer (not connected) and one goes down into the loom, but where it plugs in i cannot suss.
There's also a black one hanging under the horncase
They're the only 2 without a home, and plugging them together kills all electrics on the bike.
Any ideas?

Grey is normally AC power and black earth, so plugging them together will short all electrics out.

Those extra wires are normally for the PRD relay, which has probably been removed.
