That's it Robbie. Looks much tidier.

Not sure about the caliper. I've never had one.

Thank you for pointing out my mistake with the dampers.
I agree it does now look much better :D
I have slackened off the engine bolt slightly,
So will see how the vibration is.

As for the disc brake...i bought it years ago and only recently fitted it. Am a bit unsure about it.
But will see how it goes.
I do have the original front drum so can change it once its blasted, coated and rebuilt if im not happy with the disc brake.
I never feel confident usuing the front brake on my S3... its a drum brake. It does work though..eventually ;)

looking good Robbie, well done, your rattling could be where the peg on the link goes into the brake, I usually fit a bit of old hosepipe on it to take up the slack and stop it from clunking, like the colour sceme as well, spot on.

I applied for a V5C about 6 weeks ago.
I was knocked back by the DVLA.
My own fault I had forgotten to include a photo copy of my passport and utility bill to prove my identity and home address.
So i reapplied.
I then had to have SGS come and inspect it.
I was slightly concerned as the frame number is only just visible after blasting and the amount of paint on it. So it does not photograph very well.
But the guy who came was very friendly and understood the process of blasting and painting.
Whilst he could not photograph the number he could see it and was happy with it.
My registration document arrived today.
Now need to get a Black Number plate and fill the hydraulic disc brake with fluid then start to see how it runs.
