FACTS
BLOA was a business, a sub-company of Lambretta Concessionaires
The current LCGB club has no legal link to BLOA business, only a historical link.
Current LCGB committee failed to either protect (Trademark) or use commercially the BLOA name/brand for the past few decades
Gavin Frankland resurrected the old name, registered the trademark and has started a Lambretta Club
Current LCGB then started throwing BLOA branded stuff to the print shop quick as they could to try and show commercial use (too little, too late)
Current LCGB started legal proceedings - this is a good point to look into: Gavin Frankland states "only received one letter from a no-win no-fee solicitor" yet LCGB accounts show £6800 in legal fees - so what's gone on there?
Trademark office received 2 objections from LCGB, the first of which has been rejected
Those still interested are now waiting for Trademark office to make a ruling on the point of objection - as most other people here have speculated, that ruling seems to be the hinge on which all other action swings.
In the meantime, some of those who have an axe to grind with the current LCGB committee have jumped on board with BLOA to use it as a vehicle to upset the LCGB, whilst LCGB stalwarts have jumped to the clubs defence and tried to portray Gavin Frankland as a shady gangster out to steal your gran's life savings.
Meanwhile, a devout christian cowboy lost his favorite Bible while he was mending fences out on the range. Three weeks later, a duck walked up to him carrying the Bible in its mouth. The cowboy couldn't believe his eyes. He took the precious book out of the duck's mouth, raised his eyes heavenward and exclaimed, "It's a miracle!" "Not really," said the duck. "Your name is written inside the cover." - FACT

Oh and can I print some BLOA stickers and start selling them on eBay?

Arcadia a good post although I don’t see any LCGB bashing from BLOA members far from it. The bashing appears to be from LCGB members and some of their comments are quite disgraceful especially from Nic. In my opinion Mr Franklin is taking a mature stance and not getting involved in forum debates.

Seems very popular with people who aren't members of the LCGB ?
Seems very popular with some in the LCGB too. While the rank and file are probably as much in the dark as anybody.
