thats a little bit annoying, you wouldnt expect it to fail so quickly, i presume box was shimmed correctly and filled with oil, you would expect that to be a quality bearing that would last a long time, have you contacted mb ?

Yes shimmed correctly oil in I bought it off another dealer Christmas time it just started on this ride was doing a 30 mile stint on a1 as I say thought tyre pressure but when I got home got hold of wheel and didn't like the amount of play so stripped it thinking endplate nuts but all was ok apart from the bearing I have one in my rb with 2000 miles on that's ok anyway new parts on way

Same here done 100's miles back in the 80's and never needed to change one now it seems I need to change one on every scoot I ever get.Maybe it was because I was used to just sliding around and thought that was the norm back then.

I wouldn't mind the original one I tapped out is still in good condition but if you put it all back together and find it isn't you'd well pissed
