I've a dr 180 kit to put on a px . It doesn't have a head gasket .Is this right ?

No head gasket on last one I did.

Before you fit lap the cylinder and head. I would also hone it to get a better (larger) bore to piston clearance (very tight out of the box) . Finally gap the rings.

And don't forget to chamfer all the ports !

I'm in the process of building one as well. What should the ring gap be ideally?
