I'm currently on the look out for some original LI special side panels. I've found some Spanish panels but before I spend the money can anyone tell me if they are the same as the Italian ones and will fit? Don't want to waste my money if they are different, cheers.

the Spanish Special panels are wider to accommodate the slightly different fuel tank.

In practice you won't notice it.

chris i thought that the spanish and italian were very similar but
the later spanish ones are noticeabley wider with about 10mm extra on the top flat chamfered area, must have been welded in must only be 1978 or so scooters,
