Trying to register mine at the moment, what a f*&+ing nightmare, its been rejected twice already and I'm just waiting for it to return for the third time.It seems the problem is with the DVLA computer system, when they try to put 125LI in the vin box it keeps coming back as 125L1.The VOSA computer system must be linked in some way because the vin number on my mot certificate is the same ie 125L1.The trouble is the numpties at the DVLA think that they're right and everyone else is wrong. This time when I sent all the paperwork I also included a covering letter explaining all this, fingers crossed this time because my insurance is going to run out at this rate.
Beautiful scooter by the way!

Oh I'm so full of confidence now!

They say to use a black biro and write in capitals, a 1 and I would therefore look the same. Surely they would have had the common sense to try both when 'computer says no' (cough)

It would appear that if you work for the DVLA,common sense is the last thing you need.I think when they clock on in the morning there must be a little cupboard where they all leave their brains until clocking off time.

HxPaul, where did you get/repair your seats? My series 2 is further up the thread and as you can see the covers are shot. I want to do a rusto but would rather repair the originals than buy covers or replacements. MT

My brother gave me the seats,he uses a bench type seat so these were surplace.I think they're Indian in origin,he bought them new,but like all Indian seats the front one tends to slope forward quite a bit,so I used spacers under the front of the seat to level it out.
