It might be worth checking the fast flow tap some of them (I've had one recently) don't give the flow they should, also check the float valve is not sticking and the valve is big enough.

Hi mate. It seems to be at a specific speed. If a went at 30 everywhere I'm sure it would be ok.
It's when the engine has to work harder, I.e. a bit more throttle or going uphill it just stops.
Thanks for the tip on the hose. I already have a clear one fitted but its worth a look to make sure it's not being pinched.

Cheers.

now i have mentioned this before as something like this has happened to me,please check the tap what sticks out
under your tool box door next to the choke is not spinning on the metal bar which goes to the petrol tap its self, what happens is you turn tap on full,it only opens the tap a little you get going it drains the bowl as it`s only half full or less you stop
as you wonder whats happening it fills you kick your off and then you stop again...

Not saying it`s this but please check it first ....TOSH

Ok,
Been out to check a few things.
petrol tap is not fouling on the petrol tap lever. The tap is a new one, fast flow rear exit.
Petrol cap is new and breather clear.
Looking at the tap. If I turn it on I would expect it to fill up the hose straight away. (The hose is the clear see through type)
But it doesn't look to be flowing freely. ?

Carb is a brand new 26 mm dellorto.

Cheers.

Put your pipe into a measured jug/container and time how long it takes to do a Litre.....not sure on exact measurements but when you post results you'll get replies as to whether it's right or wrong............still think it could be electrical !!!

What size jets, slide, atomizer have you got in there and does the fuel flow through freely if you drop the float bowl off?
