Loving that.
But preferred the Snetty to the current seat though.

Wish it was.

I have been trying to get back into the mood, here's some more stuff I have been doing of late.
Fitted Side Stand

Image

Replaced the first gear and kickstart shaft, tried out the engine jig at the same time. It seemed to go ok, it can be indexed and locked in 12 different positions.
Also fitted the new BGM silent blocks.

Finally got around to fitting my SIP speedo. Like Minorty from this forum, I have decided to mount the speed sensor to pick up off the rear wheel.
I made a widget that will be pressed and glued into the rear shock bottom mount.

Fitted and fired up the SIP speedo, view from the cockpit,

Tried out this new digital torque meter, found it to be very accurate, even measures torque for left hand threads, watch out flywheel.

I really must change that seat

I have some new gauges and sensors to fit also, when these are in place then the fun starts.
My control programe is nearlly finished :geek: , it will have some speacial features such as logging, electronic choke
Automatic choke on a pre seleted EGT setting or RPM etc (hopefully a anti seize function)

The SIP catalouge is fantastic even considered buying a Vespa at one point. :?

Neat solution for mounting the sensor, I like it!

I think the you'll like the SIP speedo, it was certainly a novelty for me having a stable, accurate speedo.

Nice work on the speedo sensor, given me some ideas for fitting one on the front

Awesome scoot. Very envious.
Prefer the Snetty though. Just a personal thing.
And perhaps change the Indian switchgear....?????
