Looking for the possible cause of a front brake shudder. I have an old sstyle Grimeca 16mm.....using a PX style headset with master cylinder....I am running a Bitubo shock, Michellin S83's. When I grab the brake under moderate to fast speeds...it stops as expected......but when I grab the brake lighltly at lower speeds it starts to shudder ....sometimes pretty badly. If I let off the brake....and reapply it usually stops.
I Have changed the steering column bearings and the bearings on the hub. Made sure caliper is not loose....changed out brake pads... Made sure everything is tight etc. Still having same issue.
Any thoughts on what could be causing this?
