If you're reading this....
Tell the Indians to rest easy in their beds, you're stator is probably OK.
Thanks for loan of stator.
Whereas I now have plenty of crank cheek clearance, they're at least 4mm further apart thann they should be & the bike is lighter now due to the metal that has been ground off the inside of the mag housing and it was 'dead easy' to get it out of the crankcase...
No wonder it wouldn't run eh.
Looks like its another trip to Cranks R Us .....not.
Get some new fuel btw ......

hee hee hee,, taper on mine is shagged as well,, Li flywheel boss may fit on it ,, worn big time boy ,, luckily got a spare crank but got the wrong rod in it and its welded!!! bugger,, its a grind man,,,its a grind

NSA results - the 'truth'.....
me - 89 mph with a seize and twisted crank - not bad eh ...for a three gear run/blow up.
Paul Priestley - crank went also.
Darreyl - well you can see what happened above.
Pete Newbold - shagged transmission pulley followed closely by shagged barrel.
Jamie Newbold ......OK!

Good job the weather was OK then.
