From my little experience, it seems to depend on the quality i.e. Where they were manufactured/manufacturer. I've done about 10-15 sets and they all varied a bit. The Casa ones seem to be best in grey but I usually soak them in hot water and lubricate them with liberal amounts of soapy water so they slide on really well but there are a few other methods which will probably be posted. :?: :?:

bit of hair spray or clear lacquer helps them slide on, and then is adhesive as it dries.
Indian GPs seem to have rather stumpy ends, and so the grips are too short on Italian handlebars...

My grips are around 5-8mm too short for my LiS150. I've bought a couple of pairs as replacements, but they have been the same shorter size.....where can you get longer ones?
Cheers

most bike ones are longer renthol do some nice ones however most if not all road bikes have bar end weights so there will be holes in the ends , moto cross ones are normally sealed at the end but have a bigger flange at the other end

Put the grips in boiling water for a while and then squirt hairspray into them. The heat makes them stretchy enough to go all the way to the headset and the hairspray drys and keeps them in place.
