race spec link bushes

been told there are some needle roller type link bushes .. but i know nothing about who does them apart from its maybe a US dealer .. any one know any more ??

I'll dig out the details for the needle roller and bush but the end caps are specific to your links dependent on their width to minimise side float but still enable rotation, Chris Geyton made mine.

Been looking for these myself,only draw back I can see is the fit between the bush and link bolt which is often sloppy although the end caps may eliminate that and if used on a road bike it would need Ser.1/2 bolts with grease nipple and the bushes drilled to allow the needles to be lubricated.

The top hats are made exclusively for each link to minimise side float. The trouble with grease is the s**t will stick to it, I've ran mine without lubrication but would prefer something in there although I'm not sure it's needed

You may be right but the caps would keep the dirt out.Having stripped many Vespa front hubs nearly all have needed new backplate/ caliper housing needle bearings due to rust and no greasing point but packing the bearings first then fitting the caps would probably be all that was needed.
