Ive just rebuilt my IMOLA engine with the standard Imola piston except this time on a 60mm instead of the old 58mm crank. with a 107mm rod as before.

I carefully rotated the crank/flywheel to make sure the top end was all ok and and the piston seems to make very very slight contact at bdc. Possibly with the casing? it is only very slight and will continue to rotate.

Should i take .5-1mm off the skirt? will this affect anything?

Or will it be ok as it is? it is only very slight contact but I didnt fancy leaving it as is incase it knackers itself up, so thought id ask for a few opinions first.

cheers
