It's easy on a series 1/2 - the existing hole is round so you need to find speedo that does what you want that is smaller then you just need to knock up a ring with the OD same as the standard speedo and the ID the same as the new one. Simples.
There's a nice koso one with two temp gauges, digi speedo, rev counter etc.

I was there when you phoned. Phil didn't say "jump the queue" - it sounded more like something like "those bloody two"..
phil also said I could part ex my trail tech and that ian could deliever it, now that's service.

The sausage king Supereibar said he has never seen sausages as big as your fingers,
more like your pilsbury dough boy body  keeping you in the warm house
TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back

When does the Dactec one come out? also can you run the magnet pick up off the front wheel instead of using the standard cable? Seems a bit pointless getting a digital speedo then plumbing it into 50 year old tech.. :?

They are just having the artwork done at the moment, so it should be within the month.
It can be run from a magnet pick up aswell.

So we have 2 digital speedos coming to market at the same time... :D Will be intresting to see how they compare to each other... The Dac would appear to have the edge as far as functionality is concerned what with having the temp guage, which i think is a big tick for a lot scooterists..Both appear to be made to fit into the series 3 apauture without any fettling and both can run off a magnetic pick up.

Any more info on the Dac and what the kit is likley to come with, temp sensor, fuel sensor and so on?

Both may fit the series three head set but the Mb Digital speedo will be a far superior product

Spill the beans, have you seen and used both? What are the pros and cons of each? I'd like to know more about the egt on the DAC one.
