Was that a one-off Mark or did they make all/several of the pipes for the DAC motors, I thought Charlie was doing the DAC pipes?

They do fill up that boring gap on the left hand side of the engine.
Ben
that pipe was intended for the spanish amigas

No it's that price for 1 or 2 or 10 pipes mate, it's all developed on the pc using their own software.
I believe Charlie did do pipes for dac but at close to 1k it's too expensive for me , also I need to run rear floorboards because of my rearset mounting position and the pipe dac are selling can't have rear floorboards fitted very easily because of clearance issues.
The patch pipe I have actually fits the bill on power delivery at the speed I cruise at it's just to thin to chrome sadly.

That wouldn't work, the exhaust has to move with engine independantly of the frame when the suspension compresses.
Doh, can't believe I overlooked that. Not sure how they've beefed it up, but that bottom mag housing fixing would need a timesert/helicoil at least to provide a more secure fixing and probably another bracket on the 3 o'clock fixing too. All said, it does look nice

Just looked on their website and it says that it was only used as a mock up to get the routing right for production. When i asked Dean how it was fixed (about 2 months ago), he said it wasnt fixed on the mag housing at all and that the bracketry was infact onto a decent (think theres a couple of lugs there) fixing point on the main engine?? This obviously isnt in production yet, but as its causing such a stir I will call them to find out more.
Also those gianelli cans have been used on the track for ages (by most of them now i think) so I'm sure they all know what needs doing when nessercary
I bet charlies DAC pipe worked the bollox though didnt it?!!!!
