Have recently put a new clutch in my LML 2 stroke but the gear change is now very clunky and quite stiff. Previously the clutch lever was a joy to use it used to slip in and out of gear extremely easily but now it is much more difficult. Any idea where I might have gone wrong? could it be just an adjustment of the cable, or could something else need looking at? All advice would be much appreciated.

Was it a complete clutch? Cosa type or 6 spring?
Some of the cheap Indian complete units are terrible inside.
They need stripping, turrets and plate tangs need filing, plates can be dubious.
Unfortunately they are rearly perfect out the box.
