At the front of the long seat on my P200e there is a hinge. There is a plate on that hinge which has a large air hole and three bolt holes. What do those three bolts fasten to? Loose nuts which could drop down toward the carburetor if the bolts are carelessly removed? Or threaded areas made part of the chassis?

Thanks for the information about seat attachment. Swapped the old one for a better condition one today.
