Why does a new GTS fart when it parked up after a longish run. Mine makes a noise like a fog horn for sometime after it stops. I figured it to be pressure build up in the fuel tank but why do they fit a valve in the breather line to restrict venting.

That sounds like it could be overheating and releasing pressure through the radiator cap. have you checked the coolant level? youll find the filler under the right hand knee panel
