Hi, when I click the switch down to have the headlight dipped it just goes off.
Very annoying for whoever I'm behind.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

First thinvgs I would check ;
1. Bulb
2. Bulb holder - check connections, signs of corrosion etc
3. Switch wiring
Good luck

Vespa operation manual says:
left switch on right handlebar...
1 (top pressed in) = Town lights
0 (switch to middle) = Lights off
2 (down pressed in) = Headlights
Right switch...
D (top pressed in) = High Beam
What i'm getting..
1 (top pressed in) = Town lights
0 (switch to middle) = Town lights
2 (down pressed in) = Off
1 + D = High beam
I'm sure the lights were working right when i got the scooter at the start of summer.

For the time being i've gone for the quick fix of permanently dipping the headlight to the fullest using the bolt underneath the light. Seems to be low enough not to be dazzling other road users.

Are you sure the filament in the bulb hasn't blown . They are double filament. One for dip one for full beam.
