My 1980 P200e has developed clutch issues - hopefully these can be solved by adjustment.
When studying the situation I noticed that somewhere back in time someone had revised the clutch mechanism.
Note that a length of metal tubing is on the cable between the lever and the clamp nut (or thimble or terminator or...). Seems like an excellent idea, to get the clamp nut away from the lever.

Possibly ran it with an expansion on. This might make it slightly more reachable.

Ordered the tool on September 9 using PayPal. Heard nothing from them - no order acknowledgement, no shipping notice. Their web site has no “Contact Us” so went to PayPal to inquire about shipping status using the email PayPal has for them.
My inquiry to their email shown in PayPal bounced.
Anyone in the British Isles familiar with them? Have contact information?
Thanks

The clutch adjustment tool I ordered on September 9 from TopMarks arrived today!

The system in the top picture was my idea. I was sick of not being able to get in easily to the trunnion. Plus it provides relief to the cable right at the clutch arm where I previously had a couple of breakages. And as Muttley says, it makes it easier with an expansion fitted - although worth removing the plastic cover from the outer.
