Changing Rally cylinder, need to remove the engine?

Anything related to Vespas... ask tech questions, post helpful info, or just read and learn.

I'm going to put a lot on my Rally 200. I know the head and cylinder won't clear the frame, unlike a PX. But I'm wondering if I can support the engine, just remove the main bolt, and pivot the engine enough to clear the frame, leaving all cables and wires in place.

That works a treat, better than removing all the cylinder studs which also works. They`re best left in and not disturbed.

Just saw the typo. That's put a kit on my Rally. A polini 210.
