I am about to strip my 2012 PX125 for a full respray and I would like to dismantle and blast the forks for powder coating.
I can't justify £130 for the proper service tool to press out the linkage pin and I wondered if you chaps have come up with an alternative method.

You can do it with a press, but like all things it takes time to set up holders and drifts. Unless your doing it on a regular basis best get someone who set up to do it.
It would take an hour's labour for someone who is set up. It took me half a day by the time farted about.
It's not difficult but there are a few tips you need too do it.
If you give it a go, there's a good video on YouTube but it's in Italian.
