Hello, I know it is subjective, but would love to hear honest constructive views on the best all round tyres for a 72 Rally 200.
I want something that is reasonably durable, but with the best grip as possible. I will not be choosing to go out in the rain, but may end up caught in it if I am away somewhere...
Cheers

Michelin S83 or City Grip, excellent wet performance, and not too modern looking compared some of the modern semi-slicks

My favorite is the heidenau k47. Good in the wet, capable in the twisties and easy to fit. Very solid sidewalls too. The only fault for me is the 100kph speed rating. I've travelled long distances around 100kph on motorways with no issues but I wish they had a higher speed rating.
