Whilst out minding my own business during the week, I had a "moment" on my LML.

It is a 125 Star 2 stroke on a 60 plate. whilst on a big roundabout on a dual carriageway, it nipped up, the back end stepped out, and my life flashed before me :D

Anyway, upon stripping the top end today, I have found that the big end has seized solid.

The question is, can anyone recommend a decent replacement for the crank, and the clutch. I don't want another LML crank with bearings made of cheese, and the clutch grabs like a b@5t@rd, so I need that sorting out as well.

I have the factory 5 port 150 barrel fitted, so for an everyday commuter it goes well, I just need to sort the lack of reliability out.

Oh, and cheers to Holty who has stepped up again to sort the rebuild for me :D

I put one of the super flash Serie Pro ones in mine. Admittedly, mine's a 60 mil one. But i'm sure their 57 mil ones are also good.
Mine was really smooth, straight out the box.

just buy a standard piaggio, mec or mazzachelli, rebuild the clutch properly or buy a off the shelf cosa type - you don't need anything more than that.

good luck
