sip speedo fuel gauge

Hi Probaly a daft question but I think ive set up the speedo correctly does the fuel gauge show all white sections if full and each white section go out as it empties if you know what I mean

No, you should ride with the tap set on reserve and when the fuel level reaches the reserve the mileage readout will flash alternate with 'FUEL'. So there is no actual indicator of what's in the tank.

thanks for reply but what was the point in incorporating a fuel gauge into the speedo than it says fuel gauge in instructions

Sorry, I did not realize Vespa ones are a bit more high-tect.

Sorry, I did not realize Vespa ones are a bit more high-tect.
I think theres a lot more room to fit everything in. ive emptied the tank now to fit a fast flow tap so I will check it as I refill and see what happens too the gauges

all the bars light up white, when you get down to the last bar the fuel light should come on, then the last bar will flash
