T 5 clutch

My t 5 classic lurches forward when pulling away
Any ideas

They don't have a reverse gear if that's what your asking ;)

Is it used regularly? If not it could be the clutch plates sticking together, then releasing suddenly causing the 'lurch'.

Or, the plates could be worn and need replaced?

new plates fresh oil fresh inner cable sorted soak plates overnight in a plastic bag i find best

and check the turrets have no burrs on them

A big part of this problem is the springs being done, change plates and springs together preferably piaggio genuine parts.
Otherwise buy complete new clutch unit plug and play.
