No electric start on this 1980 Vespa P200e but it does have a battery. Without opening up the head set it appears the switch is two position. It has the neutral light but the switch is gone. This schematic seems to apply.

So... My question in general is "What is powered by AC and what by DC?" And my specific question "Is the wire feeding into the turn signal flasher carrying AC or DC?"

Internet searches yield some inconsistent answers to these questions.

Thanks.

There's only one DC output from the regulator, that's the B+. So the C output therefore is AC.

Is this a US spec?
