Hi peeps,

I'm currently running a PX cutdown with a reed valve LML125 engine and 430miles into running in a 150 5 port kit.Been running around town so far but took it along a parkway yesterday at 55 and it light seized about 2 miles in.Plug was a light tan colour and it ran fine after that. I did a plug chop today at around 50mph around 1/4 throttle and the plug was a very light/grey tan colour.Set up is,

20/20 carb premix at 2% in tank
Drilled PX filter
Simonini
Red carbon reed
B7 plug
55/160 pilot
160 air corrector
BE3 stack
110 main
Timing 18 deg strobed
Fast flow tap
Idle screws about 2 turns out and it revs nice from idle.
What's the best way to richen up a bit at 1/4 throttle, pilot jet change?

A Read here will help you m8 -> http://scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=27378

I'd up the plug firstly to a B8
You might be best leaving pilot jet, & just up the atomiser to a BE1

Always plug chop after any changes tho ;-)

Cheers,I'll give it a try.Strange why it nipped up though,no air leaks or fuel starvation.I can only think that it's running lean mid range or it hasn't had enough running in miles yet.But even 430 miles should be enough? there was no pinking at all until exactly when it nipped.
