fitting exhaust gas probe
Am i right the probe needs to be 100mm from bottom of piston fitting on a vespa t5 revolver exhaust

That's the usual figure quoted, but couple of mm either way shouldn't make much difference.

I’ve been told the way that a lot of racers choose the position of their probe is to use some cheap BBQ spray paint on the header and go for a fast ride. The spot where the paint starts to burn/blister first is where you want to position your probe as that’s the hottest part of the header.
