My soon enjoys the whole project but fears a bit the gear change thing. I guess I felt the same when I was fourteen/fifteen.
I should have the casings back from the welding shop next Tuesday.

with my teeth!
....and a mobility flexxi. great and easy to use as a grinding tool. Far better than any pneumatics or loosy dremels... speed controlled by pedal, lots of torque instantly poured even at very low revs... A dream for any old fashioned tuner...

Looking for a decent head, I must admit the original one is a crap without no Squish band at all and a lousy cup shape. Polini does one a bit better for its 50cc kit. It is oddly too large with 41,8 mm for a 38,6 bore. I can imagine the pinging noise from my seat. Anyway I can schrink it to 40mm by skimming it.
Need to check if squish ok with a meteor piston.
