I just had another look at the first page of this thread. That's fantastic given what you started with. I bet you're glad you didn't bin it now!

I have only last week drilled all the floor runner holes and brake pedal hole for my 90 Racer which went for paint today.
I have no desire to drill a freshly painted floor again
Amazing transition though

I pre drilled all of the holes in mine. When it came back from the painters most of them had disappeared.lambro wrote:I am putting floor runners on it.... I'll just be doing it the hard way though.cartmel808 wrote:Muttley McLadd wrote:How come you're not putting runners on it?

Well I've strayed off from my initial plan of an original resto & it's evolving into a bit of a hot rod / street racer build, with a Reed Malossi MHR 221 motor - wide rear tyre conversion & hydraulic front disc brake front end...
I tried the motor in tonight to see how the wide back tyre lines up & it's clearing everything nicely, but is still sitting slightly offset to the spare wheel side... Hopefully I'll get the fork in over the weekend so I can then check wheel alignment.
